Abd Halim Bin Husin

Abd Halim is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute for Professional Financial Manager based in the United Kingdom. He is also a Member of Australian Certified Practising Accountants (CPA), a Member of both Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Malaysian Institute of Taxation (MIT) and holds a Masters in Business Administration.

Abd Halim was a Finance Director in Freuden Group of Companies which supply, installation of computer and multimedia labs equipments. He also acted a Senior Finance Executive in Siemens Group in the year 1997 before moving on to rejoin KPMG as an Audit Manager between 1997 to 2000.

Abd Halim was formerly the Chairman of the MIA for Melaka Branch between 2004 to 2006. In year 2001. he was a lecturer for the Advance Tax and Law Practice in Multimedia University.

Currently, Abd Halim is actively contributing to various organisations in Malaysia, such as:

	Vice President of Malaysian Association of Accounting Administrator
	Member of the Corporate Practice Consultative Forum, Companies Commission of Malaysia
	Committee member of the Bar Council Disciplinary Committee
	Committee member of the MIA Public Practice, MIA Continuing Professional Development, MIA Audit Committee and MIA Company Law Practice Working Group
	Committee member of the Malaysian Malay Chamber of Commerce in Melaka Branch

Abd Halim is serving as a panel member for national question standards setting for Politeknik, representing the accountancy profession for the Malaysian Qualification Accreditation and PUNB's Bumiputras Commercial Programme.

Abd Halim has vast expertise in Auditing and Assurance, Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory, Companies' Restructuring and; Training and Seminar Management.
